Montagnes

Des montagnes gravies, traversées, gardées en mémoire. Les pics du mont Huang que Shitao peint de souvenir, les montagnes d’hiver de Gong Xian à l’encre profonde, le mont Inwang de Jeong Seon, le Fuji tout petit sous la grande vague de Hokusai, les Andes de Church qui s’ouvrent sur une cascade, la Sainte-Victoire de Cézanne derrière un viaduc, et le Vésuve en éruption dans la nuit chez Dahl. De l’encre venue de Chine, de Corée et du Japon, des estampes, et de l’huile d’Amérique et d’Europe.

En puzzle

La plupart sont à l’encre, sur de hauts rouleaux et de larges paravents où la brume et le papier nu font la moitié du travail. Construisez à partir des rochers sombres, des pins et des toits, puis traversez le papier vide à la forme des bords. Les huiles vont plus facilement, avec des arbres, de l’eau et une ligne nette là où la crête touche le ciel, et la vague de Hokusai est ferme partout. Gardez un nombre de pièces bas pour l’encre.
