For two people, one of them far away

Build a puzzle of each other, from wherever you are.

You and the person you miss open the same table and build the same puzzle, piece for piece. Except you are putting together a photo of them, and they are putting together one of you. You talk the whole time. You watch each other’s pieces move.

free · no sign-up · works in your browser · just the two of you

on your screen: them
on theirs: you

same pieces, same puzzle. your own picture on each side.

The thing no other puzzle does

Same pieces. Your own picture.

Because you bring your own photo, you can spend an hour slowly uncovering the one face you most want to see tonight. They get to do the same with yours. It is the same cut for both of you, so you really are building it together. Only the picture underneath is yours. Nowhere else online lets you do that.

Just between the two of you

Your picture never leaves your device.

Only the pieces ever travel across the line. The photo underneath stays on your screen, on your device, and goes nowhere else. So that picture they sent you for Christmas, the one meant for your eyes only, is safe to build. You can keep things a little spicy from far apart, slowly uncovering it piece by piece, and the only person who ever sees your side of the table is you.

How it works

Three taps, then an hour together.

first

Pick your picture

Upload a photo from your phone or laptop, or choose a painting. They do the same with theirs.

then

Send one link

One tap shares your table. No app to download, no account to make, nothing to sign up for.

and

Build, and talk

Same puzzle, two screens, your two voices. Pieces settle in as you go. No timer, no rush.

Why it’s right for two people apart

It’s the missing them, not a quiz.

You end up with their face

Most apps for couples hand you a questionnaire. This hands you a slow, shared hour, and at the end of it, the person you have been missing.

No deciding what to build

You pick your photo, they pick theirs. It is the same puzzle either way, so no one has to give up the picture they wanted.

Even difficulty isn’t a contest

A photo full of detail is easy. A soft, same-colour one is hard. Pick the picture that suits how good a puzzler you are, and be evenly matched without pretending.

Questions

A few honest answers.

Is it actually free?

Yes. No accounts, no paywall, nothing to install. You open a table in your browser and send the link. That is the whole thing.

Do we both build the same picture?

Only if you want to. The pieces are identical for both of you, but each person can build their own photo. So you can put together a picture of them while they put together one of you.

Can we talk while we play?

Yes. Voice runs straight between the two of you, and a text chat sits alongside it that always gets through, even if one of you is behind a strict firewall and the voice cannot connect.

Does my picture get uploaded anywhere?

No. The photo you build stays on your own device and never crosses the line. Only the puzzle pieces move between the two of you, so even a private picture, the kind you would only ever show them, is safe to put on the table.

How far apart can we be?

Any distance. It all runs in the browser, so different cities, different countries and different time zones are all fine.

What can we build?

Any photo you upload from your phone or laptop, or one of the famous paintings in the gallery if you would rather not use a photo.
