These are the terms for using Connected by Puzzles at connectedbypuzzles.com. They are meant to be plain. By using the site, you agree to them. If you do not, please do not use the site.

The service

Connected by Puzzles is a free online jigsaw you play in your browser, on your own or with one other person far away. It is offered as it is, for your enjoyment.

It is free

There is no charge, no account, and no paywall. We may add, change, or remove features over time as the site grows.

Your pictures and content

When you build a photo of your own, it stays on your device and is never uploaded to us. You keep every right to your own pictures. You are responsible for making sure you are allowed to use the images you choose, and for not building anything unlawful, hateful, or that infringes someone else's rights.

Being decent

Please use the site kindly. Do not try to break, overload, or interfere with it, do not use it to harass the person you are playing with through chat or voice, and do not use it for anything illegal. A table is for two people who want a calm, shared hour.

The artwork

The paintings in the gallery come from The Metropolitan Museum of Art's Open Access collection and are in the public domain. They are provided here for you to build and enjoy.

Availability

We try to keep the site running smoothly, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of faults. We may change, pause, or discontinue any part of it at any time.

No warranty

The site is provided on an as-is and as-available basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Connected by Puzzles and its maker will not be liable for any indirect or incidental loss arising from your use of the site. It is a small, free puzzle, offered in good faith.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site means you accept the current version.
