Bambini

Bambini dipinti da persone che, si vede, volevano loro bene. Il bambino in rosso di Goya con la gazza e i gatti, gli scolari di Homer che giocano in catena sul prato, Madame Roulin che tiene in braccio il suo bambino, il figlioletto di Rubens accanto alla madre, i bambini del cottage di Gainsborough che raccolgono legna, la madre con i figli di Utamaro davanti a un paravento e le due sorelle di Fragonard. Pochi di loro sono rimasti fermi a lungo.

Come puzzle

Un montaggio caldo e costante. I volti, i vestiti accesi e i giocattoli ti danno molti punti da cui partire, e i giochi all’aperto sono pieni fino ai bordi. Le parti lente sono quelle che ti aspetti: un fondo scuro da atelier dietro un ritratto, o un prato ampio sotto un grande cielo.
