Páginas sacadas de libros persas, pintadas entre 1340 y 1740 aproximadamente. Isfandiyar frente a su dragón, derviches girando en un jardín, pájaros reunidos junto a un arroyo, dos amantes apoyados el uno en el otro sobre un fondo de oro. El Shahnameh de Firdausi dio la mayoría de las historias. Riza-yi 'Abbasi y los pintores de su entorno trabajaban en pequeño, con colores minerales vivos y oro, y dejaban correr un borde de escritura alrededor de la imagen.
Como puzzle
Uno para tomarse con calma. El color es vivo y está puesto plano, así que un trozo de manto escarlata o de cielo dorado pertenece a un sitio evidente, y el marco trazado te da una línea clara por donde avanzar. La escritura de los márgenes es la parte lenta, porque una línea se parece mucho a la siguiente. Trece de las catorce son más altas que anchas.
Un buen tamaño aquí: 60–250 piezas.
