Petals, caught in oil

Flowers

Sunflowers, roses, irises and wild bouquets, painted by artists who loved them almost too much. Van Gogh's thick, urgent petals, Renoir's soft roses, Fantin-Latour's quiet arrangements, Redouté's exact botanical studies. Colour for its own sake.

As a puzzle

A bright, forgiving build. Dense, layered petals give the eye plenty of small distinct shapes to sort by, and the strong colour makes near-neighbours easy to tell apart. Plain backgrounds behind a single bloom are the patient stretch.

A good size here: 60–300 pieces.
