Zen-inkt

Inktschilderkunst uit de zentempels van Japan, en uit de ateliers die haar voortzetten. Bergen die half in de mist blijven, gibbons in de bomen, een slapende kat op kaal papier, Bodhidharma die recht terugkijkt. Sesshū, Sesson, Hakuin en de monniken om hen heen werkten bijna alleen in zwart, en lieten het grootste deel van het vel met rust.
